1 pineapple, chopped and sliced into about 8 rings
1/2 cup full of brown sugar
1/2 cup dark rum

1/2 cantaloupe, cut into cubes
1/2 pineapple, cut into cubes
1/2 watermelon, cut into cubes
2 peaches, cut off wedges
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Combine cantaloupe cubes, pineapple and watermelon alternately on skewers. Cook on pre-heated grill over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes each. When ready, allow to cool for a few minutes and remove from skewers. Place the grilled fruit in a serving dish and fill with balsamic vinegar. Top with fresh basil. Sprinkle a little salt if desired.

When ready, remove the fruit from the skewers into a bowl. Pour honey-cinnamon syrup over the fruit and stir to coat the fruit with the syrup. Spoon fruit mixture over a lot of vanilla ice cream.
